Oxide Solid Electrolyte Powders

Skyworks RF Ceramics is developing the capability to produce oxide solid electrolyte powders for high energy density lithium batteries which are superior to liquid electrolyte lithium batters since they are not susceptible to overheating and thermal runaway. We provide custom oxide compositions with the garnet, perovskite or other structures with submicron particle sizes suitable for sintering into dense electrolytes. Example compounds include:

        • LLZO Garnet- Li7 La3 Zr2 O12
        • LLTO Perovskite – Lax Liy TiO3

To support these efforts, we leverage our in-house x-ray diffraction along with powder particle size and powder surface area measurements to evaluate materials. In addition, we partner with several renowned laboratories providing quantitative chemical analyses such as ICP.

Thermal Spray Powders

With our in-house manufacturing capability, we can deliver materials that range from custom particle size distributions for thermal barrier coatings and fuel cells, to machined precision components. Our ingots continue to be the industry standard for EB-PVD. Our material purity, controlled processing, and uniform density provide a controlled meltpool with minimal eruptions and spitting. As a result, we are your source for advanced, state-of-the art, low thermal conductivity ingots and powders.
